The Curriculum
The
School follows the British Syllabus using the relevant text books in subjects
like the English Language, English literature,
Mathematics, Science, Computer Studies, and Social Studies.
In
the Pre-Primary and Primary Grades
it has adopted the Phonic system of teaching
English which makes learning of the language faster and easier
for young children.
Arabic, ( for all
students), Islamic Studies and Quran ( for Muslim Students only) are taught
according to the syllabus prescribed by the Ministry of Education, U.A.E. The UAE Social Studies is also part of the curriculum
from Grade IV.
French can be offered as
an optional language from Grade IV.
Computer Studies is
prescribed as a compulsory subject from Grade II.
Urdu (Sind Board,
Pakistan), Hindi (CBSE) and Bengali are taught as optional languages to
children hailing from Pakistan, India and Bangladesh.
Students
are prepared for the IGCSE examinations
of the University of Cambridge in grades
IX and X. The School has plans to add A-Levels after shifting into its own
custom made building.
