CIRCULAR

Dear Parents,　

Following is the important information for the current academic year closing and re-opening of the new academic year 2011 – 2012

FINAL EXAMINATION : The theory examinations for Grade KG 1 to Grade 9 will begin on Sunday 8th June, 2011. School timings during the examination for all classes will be from 7.30 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.. Students are expected not to attend the school on those days when they have no examination.　

RESULTS: Subject to the approval by the Abu Dhabi Education Council, the results for Grades K.G. 1 to 9 will be issued to the parents on Thursday June 30th, 2011 from 8.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and the result of the re- exam will be declared on Sunday 10th July, 2011 from 8.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.

NEW ADMISSIONS : New admissions to all classes are going to be in progress. Our first priority is to accommodate children whose brothers and sisters are already studying in this school . Hence we request all parents that if they wish to admit any new children in this school they should do so before 30th April, 2011. After this date admissions will be made only if seats are available. The Entrance Exam for the students of K.G. 2 to Grade 9 will be conducted on every Saturday from 9.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. The first Entrance Exam for the new admission will be conducted on Saturday 30th, April, 2011

SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION : The school does not provide the transport facility but in order to facilitate the parents the school in co-ordination with ADVANCE GENERAL TRANSPORT has linked up and provides the transportation facilities for the students. However , please note that the transport company will provide only two way transportation. They do not have the provision of one way transportation facility.

ISSUANCE OF TRANSFER CERTIFICATES: Students, who are for any reason leaving the school at the end of the academic year should apply for "School Leaving Certificate" on or before Thursday 28th April, 2011. This is to know the exact seats available in each classes in order to proceed for the new admissions. We will try to keep the certificates ready and issue them along with the results. It should be clearly mentioned on the application form whether the TC is required for transferring the students:

◊ Within Abu Dhabi city.

◊ Outside Abu Dhabi city but within Abu Dhabi emirate.

◊ Outside Abu Dhabi emirate but within UAE.

◊ Outside UAE.

The school will not be responsible for issuance of a wrong certificate if accurate instructions are not received from parents. We recommend that the parents apply for TC’s on a prescribed Performa available at the reception.

It will be the responsibility of parents to get these transfer certificates attested from the Ministry of Education.

The school reserves the right to collect fees for the new term if the TC is not applied for in time.

ISSUANCE OF OTHER CERTIFICATES: Due to non-availability of staff during the summer holidays, it is not possible to issue any kind of certificate. Hence, parents are requested to get the required certificates issued before 07th July, 2011.

TEXT BOOKS FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2011 – 2012 : Text books will be available in the school stores from 25th August , 2011 in the morning from 8.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. Books will be sold to only those students who pay at least the 1st term fees for the academic year 2011 - 2012.

As publishers make last minute changes and certain existing books in our curriculum go out of print, confirmed lists of books can be made available only in the last week of August, 2011.

RE-OPENING: The school will reopen on Wednesday 07th September, 2011 for all classes from KG - 2 to 10. There will be no self study on the first two days i.e. on 7th and 8th of September, 2011 . The School timings for the first two days will be 7.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. KG - 1 classes will begin from 18th September, 2011.
