DR. AFSAR KHAN

A BRIEF INTRODUCTION

Dr. Afsar Khan (B.Sc., B.Lib.Sc., M.A., M.Ed., Ph.D), has a total of 33 years experience in the field of education of which he has given 28 years as Principal for reputed institutions in India and the Gulf Countries.

Dr. Khan came to the gulf for the first time in 1985 as the Principal of Indian School in Salalah (Sultanate of Oman). Two years later he took up the Principal ship of International Indian School, Riyadh, KSA and remained at the helm of its affairs for thirteen long years. During his reign the school grew from a strength of 1600 to a strength of 8500 to become the third largest school in the world then. He has been the Principal of NIMS, Sharjah for the last three years. In India he was the  Principal of Model High School, Aurangabad for five years & had served Holy Cross English High School, Aurangabad and St. Francis De Sales High School, Aurangabad for five years. He was the Secretary of the Gulf Council of CBSE affiliated schools in 2004.

The academic profile of Dr. Afsar Khan includes a doctorate degree in Education. He is also the author of a series of books entitled "Mental Mathematics". He has published scores of articles in various international journals on "Job Satisfaction among teachers".
