WATER &ELECTRICITY CLUB FUN ALL THE DAY!
Out of the many activities Al Rayyan has arranged for its students, the visit to the water and electricity club is the most faved. students of all ages and gender get their chance to visit.
On my very first day I sat with my friends and watched two of my classmates trying to entertain the rest as none of them were in a spirit to play the various sports w&e club had to offer
When I finally decided to explore the club, I found out there were many games such as badminton, swimming, squash and table tennis which many students were enjoying. My classmates finally decided to do something useful and they choose to play in the area build exclusively for kids even though most of them were grown ups. we played on swings, slides and merry- go- round. Soon the first day came to an end and we were reluctant to leave even though we had spent two and a half hours. But with hope of coming back again we left.
On the second and third visit I decided to enjoy a game of badminton,
I played until my muscles and joints gave away. We shared the badminton court with many others and more than knitting the shuttle we were accidentally knitting each other. As I had not played badminton before it was also a constant battle of trying to get my aim right which my P.T teacher was trying to teach me! On my third visit I had improved my abilities, though, and even got the chance of playing with some of our teachers who too were enthusiastic about the sport.
With the third visit our chance to go to club came to an end and our visit to the club came to a halt as the holy month of Ramadan was approaching .But I am not disappointed as I have found interest in a new sport and I wait longingly until I get a chance to visit the club to improve my skills further.
